PATTERSON SHAW | PRESIDENT & CEO
Mr. Shaw has been active in the oil and gas industry since 1981 and remains active in project generation, acquisition, marketing, drilling and development of oil and gas projects throughout the United States, with a focus on the Rocky Mountain Region.
Mr. Shaw started his industry career as Division Landman for BWAB Incorporated in from 1982 through 1986, and became President of BWAB affiliate Bountiful Resources Inc. in 1988. Mr. Shaw and Anthony Mayer co-founded Savant Resources Inc. (“SRI”) in 1988 and in 1994 reorganized as Savant Resources LLC (“Savant”). Mr. Shaw most recently founded Charter Energy Partners LLC and affiliates in 2011.
Mr. Shaw received his Bachelors of Science degree from the University of Colorado in 1982. He currently serves as a Trustee for the National Western Scholarship Trust, National Western Stock Show Association and a Director of Roundup Riders of the Rockies Heritage & Trails Foundation.
ALEXANDER CLAYPOOL | EXPLORATION MANAGER
Alex Claypool joined Charter Energy Partners in 2013 and manages the geologic delineation and strategic activities related to positioning Charter in grass-roots projects, developing oil & gas resource plays and new ventures.
Prior to joining Charter, Alex led Fidelity Exploration and Production’s geologic efforts in expanding and developing their Bakken oil position. As a geologist and team lead Alex has guided successful exploration and development programs throughout the Rocky Mountain Region.
Alex holds a BA in Geology from Franklin and Marshall College, an MS in Geology from the University of Vermont, and an MBA from the Daniels College of Business at the University of Denver.
SIMON HARRIET | CONTROLLER
Simon Harriet joined Shaw Resources Management LLC in 2012. Simon graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of Wyoming and a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Metro State University of Denver. Prior to joining SRM, he worked at the public accounting firms R T Higgins & Associates and Eide Baily.
